ARMENIA, Cilician Armenia. Royal. Hetoum I, 1226-1270. Tram (Silver, 24 mm, 3.00 g, 10 h), bilingual issue, acknowleding Kay Khusraw II, Seljuk of Rum, Sis, 1243/4. 'Hethum King of the Armenians' in Armenian Hetoum on horseback riding right, head facing, holding lis-tipped scepter and reins; in field to left, cross; in field to left, star. Rev. 'The Supreme Sultan, Helper of the World and the Faith, Kaykhusraw ibn Kayqubad' in three lines in Arabic; around, date and mint. Broome 1110. Izmirlier 434ff. An attractive and darkly toned example. Good very fine.
